I migrated my SVN repository to GitHub yesterday. This should make it much easier to manage multiple branches for different Drupal core versions, and also make it possible for others to contribute in case anyone is ever interested.
In other news, I implemented an idea from my last post, and made the nocode traversal algorithm much more simple and efficient. As with the original pairing algorithm, I don't know what I was thinking two years ago.
There are now two branches, for 7.x and 8.x, with the only difference in core compatibility. If it is similarly easy to port the current module back to 6.x, I could try that as well.
