This week I posted the last episode of the epic learning series "Four weeks of Drupal". It contains 99 parts, from "What is Drupal?" to "Providing new entity properites" and can be found over at the NodeOne learning library. This will be my final Drupal learning series, and it feels good to end with (IMHO) best and most comprehensive of the learning series I've created.

This learning series was created as a part of a four-week Drupal course, which actually was held this winter. Since December or so, I've been publishing 3 parts a week at nodeone.se, building up the full series. The course – and the series – is aimed at people who have some computer and web skills, but haven't necessarily seen Drupal or any CMS before.

The series is divided into 12 chapters, roughly as follows:

  • Chapter 1 and 2 introduces Drupal as a concept, and shows how to start a Drupal site/environment.
  • Chapter 3 is content management only.
  • Chapters 4–5 is basic site building, including things like content types, fields and basic + intermediate Views configuration.
  • Chapters 6–9 covers more advanced site building, including Features, Views extensions, Page manager and Rules.
  • Chapter 11 and 12 introduces module development and theming at a basic level (and maybe more).
  • Chapter 13 contains some thoughts about doing Drupal projects.

I hope it can help more people to have fun with Drupal!

PS: There is currently some problems with the embedding of videos from Vimeo, but all the videos are available to view both at Vimeo and archive.org. Sorry about the mess.
