There are currently 103 new Drupal contributors awaiting review of their first project. This is a great place to contribute to the community and learn about interesting upcoming projects, for example...
Module: HTTP Proxy
What does it do?
Drupal core's drupal_http_request() function, which handles requests to other servers from your Drupal site, has an option to route requests through a proxy server. However, it has no interface for managing proxy servers. The HTTP Proxy module provides this interface, so you can manage proxies without code. This is a simple module from an experienced contributor. Should be a quick review, great for a beginner like you. Yes, you.
Look Useful? Review it!
If this sounds like something you'd like to see readily available on Drupal.org, you should review it and help make that happen.
Pro Tip: If you've never reviewed a project application before, you can find instructions for reviewers on Drupal.org and the Code Review group is happy to help more people get involved.
About Drupal Sun
Drupal Sun is an Evolving Web project. It allows you to:
- Do full-text search on all the articles in Drupal Planet (thanks to Apache Solr)
- Facet based on tags, author, or feed
- Flip through articles quickly (with j/k or arrow keys) to find what you're interested in
- View the entire article text inline, or in the context of the site where it was created
