Pantheon @ BADCamp

Parent Feed:

BADCamp, the worlds largest free Drupal event, is only one week away! If you're going to be there, we're looking forward to seeing you. Pantheon is a core sponsor, so look for our booth. I'll be there, along with Timani, Ricky, Jeff and Scott Massey. We'll be doing live demos of our new "Apollo" dashboard, explaining Pantheon under-the-hood and answering any questions you have. Rumor has it we may be debuting a brand new t-shirt.

If you're going to be around for the days leading up to the camp, there are several summits Thursday and Friday we'll be involved with:

  • :
We're helping to coordinate this unique opportunity for leaders in the infrastructure and performance spaces of Drupal to gather as peers in an open format. Should be pretty awesome.

  • :
As co-sponsors along with at Phase2 Technologies, Matt Cheney will be helping to lead this discussion, explaining our vision for the Drupal Product potential.

  • :
Pantheon partners, and power users are coming to our Chinatown HQ for a full day dive into our world. There will also be a happy hour starting at 5pm.

At BADCamp proper we have three presentations going:

  • :
David and I will be taking a practical look at tactics and techniques for exported configuration both now in Drupal 7, and with what's coming up in Drupal 8.

  • :
Matt and Brad Bowman will talk about the theory behind Panopoly and showcase what's coming with the 1.0 release.

  • :
A panel discussion on the state of Drupal with regard to distributions, featuring representatives from Acquia, Commerce Guys, Pantheon Systems, and Phase2 Technology.

We're also going to be doing a couple BoFs. Tentatively scheduled are a "migration to Pantheon" session, as well as a "development patterns for maximizing performance on Pantheon" talk. Check the BoF board for these on Saturday and Sunday.
