Amazee Labs won the award for developing the content management system for Daimler’s new smart.com website. They were able to set new standards in mapping internationalization processes thereby turning a former challenge of Drupal into a major advantage.

Stephanie Lüpold, CEO of Amazee Labs is exceptionally pleased: "We want to thank Daimler for the award. As a strong player in the Drupal open source community, Amazee Labs has solved one of the top challenges faced by Drupal by developing a new, revolutionary and easy way to manage content internationally. Not only have we solved this issue for Drupal, but it’s also helped Drupal achieve a significant advantage over other systems. The team has done an outstanding job. We are extremely pleased that our solution is already being used successfully by several multinational companies, including Daimler. Conferences and camps are the lifeblood of the Drupal community. They provide in-person opportunities to grow our skills, our learnings and our projects beyond our current limitations and perspectives.

DrupalCon 2019 in Amsterdam was no exception! The open-source community was out in full force, doing what we do best — asking questions and seeking the smartest answers/solitons to our most challenging questions/problems.

From the Driesnote to the Women in Drupal Luncheon, from the First-Time Contributor Workshop to Bird’s of a Feather sessions, DrupalCon Amsterdam tackled such a wide range of exciting topics, we had to find a way to show you some the highlights as we look forward to another great year of open source community and events.

As mentioned in my previous post, I’ll be sharing the videos of the various talks by Amazees at Drupal Camp Cape Town 2017, over the upcoming weeks.

First up we have Head of Global Maintenance at Amazee Labs, Bryan Gruneberg, who spoke about "Maintainability and Longevity - Keeping customers and developers happy". Maintaining strong, robust sites that evolve with the client’s needs is of utmost importance to us and was a topic that received a lot of interest from Camp attendees.

Enjoy the Video!
